Forty-four new influenza A (H1N1) cases have been reported in the country.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said 29 of these cases were imported while 15 were local transmission cases. This brings the total number of cases to 671.
Of the 671 patients confirmed to be Influenza A(H1N1) cases in the country, 560 or 89 per cent have been given a clean bill of health and discharged from their respective hospitals.
