Sarawak started rationing in some areas after water levels in dams and rivers dropped drastically.
Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr George Chan Hong Nam said tens of thousands of residents in the Sarikei Division in central Sarawak would be affected when water rationing is imposed from Friday onwards.
