Give incentives to restore Penang’s pre-war buildings

Although the in­­ner city has attained Unesco World Heritage Site status, there still exists about 150 dilapidated pre-war buildings in the heart of the state’s enclave that need to be restored.

Some of the buildings were an eyesore after being left va­­cant and some had ended up as drug haunts and dump sites.
