Penang Bridge Sdn Bhd has withdrawn the 20% discount on toll rates for motorists buying Touch ’n Go cards for use on Penang Bridge since April 1.
Its deputy general manager, Abd Rahman Hassan, said those who had bought the cards before April 1 and topped it up at designated places would still receive the discount.
The discount was previously only offered to those who bought the cards at the company’s office in Prai.
Motorists using the cards need only pay RM5.60 toll for using the bridge compared to RM7 for those who pay cash.
