Power cuts expected as TNB conducts routine maintenance work
> China Press reported that between now and Aug 8, there would be power disruption in various parts of Peninsula Malaysia.
The power cut is to allow Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) to carry out routine maintenance work.
According to the TNB website, although all states would be affected, Selangor would be the worst hit with 292 areas facing power cuts of between two to 10 hours.

ReplyDeleteJust to share with you all power alert is a channel provided by TNB to inform customers in respectitive area for any plan service interruption at least 3 days prior to the shutdown date. Normally shutdown notices will be serve to customer manually, however due to we are moving to the E-era, hence this webpage can provide information in order to assist customer to perform better home planning over the weekend.
Under Supply Electicity Act, TNB is require to do preventive maintenance every 18 month, failure to do so will cause catastrophic consequence if the switchgear exploded just beside your house. Some of the shutdown has plan in advance such as below samples....Putrajaya has no shutdown notices as the whole township is having paralleling circuit, one off for maintenance and one ready to backup.
The way this distorted information wide spread shall ceased at the wisdom people like you & me.
